Help Droid 2 buggy?

Sometimes it locks up completely. I cannot do anything. I cannot tap on anything or even move between screens. It just completely locks up. I have to remove the battery and reinstall it to get it working again.

Sometimes when I am playing songs they will skip or fast forward to the end without me even touching anything. They will spontaneously do that.

When I try to turn on the phone I have problems. I press the power button 10 or 12 times and nothing happens. I have to actually hold it down, sometimes for as long as 50 seconds -- almost a full minute, before it even starts turning on. When it actually turns on its very, very slow. It takes forever to even get to my home screen.

And the battery is taking forever to charge. Takes all night, like 8 hours. That does not seem right.

I'm having similar problems with my droid r2d2. Same thing with the freezing and power button problems. I haven't used the music player but I do have lots of random shut downs and reboots. I actually had it happen while I was writing this. It will turn off for no reason and it will reboot itself. I also have force closes with built in stuff in the system such as the battery manager which I can almost never access. Its been doing this since I got it and it wasn't startted after a certain app was downloaded. Launcher pro seemed to help with the freezing but everything else has steadily gotten worse. In the three weeks I have had the phone I have done at least ten battery pulls.

Since I am still within my thirty days should I just exchange it for a new one. I'm worried about sending mine in sice its the r2d2 and I don't know how well they sold. I don't want to get back a regular droid 2.

Sorry for thread jacking but the problems seemed to similar to need a new thread

Edit: not having any battery problems though

I would exchange mine but I don't want to pay that $50 restocking fee.

I would try a factory reset as well. If the problems persist id get a new one.

I did a hard reset like 4 or 5 days ago. It helped, but not 100%. It takes forever to come on. I press the power button and wait, and wait. Sometimes it freezes and wont do anything while I am turning it on too. That happened today. So the hard reset did not fix anything really.
