Do NOT use the SD card that comes with your Ally.

If you have replaced the card, make sure that it is a class 6. If it is not, you'll end up with a dead card like mine.

Swapper is known to kill cards less than class 6.

I have an SD card I bought a year or so ago, made by PNY. How can I find out what class it is? Looked on google quick and looks like its supposed to be printed with a number wrapped in an almost closed C. Mine has no such markings.

Listed as 1GB Micro SD 0804R72772U SD-C01G Japan.

I'm guessing maybe this was bought before classes, and since its also missing the HC listing. Now that I think about it, i think I bought this for about 3 phones ago.... an old ATT phone that only used it for the camera and audio.

Guess its time to get a thrid Card....
