Wow sure haven't I kinda thought All Share was bloat ware

I tried it out, and the video quality is whatever the quality is of the file you are playing. However, another thing to note is using All Share does not transcode the video, so whatever video you choose, your device you're streaming to has to be able to play that format. On another note, I had no success with using All Share to stream media from my computer to my phone, and I had no success streaming media from phone to PS3. I have a Samsung HD TV, and I was able to stream to it's DLNA service, but the formats it supports isn't too great.

I actually just used AllShare for the first time this weekend. My PS3 picked it up without a hitch. I was able to play mp3 and avi movie files. The majority of the movie files I have are 600 X 300(give or take) and they looked great on my Panasonic 42" plasma.

AllShare is pretty sweet. Instead of hooking up the phone to the PC to transfer music, movies, etc I just download them via AllShare. Also streams very well, put the phone next to me as I lay down in bed, stream whatever I want to watch until I fall asleep

What are you using on the comp to stream to?

I have shares setup on a Win7 PC. The easiest way to set it up is via the default Windows MediaPlayer. Basically you will have the default folders of music, video, recorded TV, etc...go in Win Mediaplayer and add and folder you want to the share list. If you need more details (not sure of your tech knowledge) let me know.
