I have not worried about an AM tuner since I switched from my Crackberry Tour 9630 to my Droid X. The reason I don't worry about it is that my AM radio station streams live and all I do is go to their website on my DX and stream the station live. No need for an AM tuner. That's my work around. Hope this helps you..[FONT="]

fred5283 I just went to their website and streaming The Jim Rome Show now on my Droid X.
The site also shows another option. You should be able to use iHeart Radio to get it done also.
I'd be quite surprised to hear that an AM radio is available. After all AM radio is broadcast on different frequencies than FM. Unless someone has found a way to plug an AM radio module into the USB port I'm thinking that it might be difficult to pick up those frequencies with the Droid X hardware.

You can't pick up the radio stations via am radio frequencies... there is no am radio tuner built into the X. The recommendations posted above are suggesting that the OP stream the radio over the internet either by directly going to a streaming radio site or by downloading a streaming radio app.

That's exactly what I was suggesting a couple of posts ago... I was able to go directly to the stations website and stream on my Droid X and I also looked up that station on my iheart radio list and it is there.

Make sure you have your DX updated and has the Flash 10.1. Also I found out that it works better with Skyfire. It takes a few seconds to a minute to load up and stream.. Another way that works that might be faster for you would be to use iheart Radio app and/or TuneIn. iheart Radio works flawless for me. TuneIn is sketchy for me, I have had problems with TuneIn starting on my DX from time to time. I've used all three of these methods and I'm able to pick up the station you requested...
