Accessories Good , affordable case for falls

Hi!

I just took the plunge and decided to buy the Droid X. I'm currently with AT&T until my Droid X gets here. I am pretty happy with AT&T but I am pretty upset they took away unlimited data and I do NOT want an iPhone. (I already here my step-dad singing about his EVERY SINGLE DAY )

In any case, I want an affordable case for my Droid X. I don't PLAN on dropping it but accidents can and do happen so I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I don't want a holster or anything like that. My phone will mainly be in my purse when I'm not using it.

Body glove is good and provides great protection...get one on ebay for 15

I just got the Seidio Active X case off of Amazon for $30 bucks shipped (well, it would have been $30 bucks if I hadn't opted for next day delivery). I know that sounds like a lot for a case, but I personally feel like this case provides substantial protection for that price. The thing that I like best about it is that there is no chance of it splitting if/when (ok let's just be honest, in the lifetime of owning a phone it's really a question of 'when' and not 'if') it falls. And unlike the jelly cases, this one has a plastic exo-skelleton covering the corners and sides.

But if you're not looking for something that expensive you can find several jelly cases and two piece plastic cases for under $15 bucks online, or even at your local Verizon Wireless store usually.

I ended up ordering RUBBERIZED PURPLE HARD CASE COVER FOR MOTOROLA DROID-X - eBay (item 280543701275 end time Nov-01-10 03:30:08 PDT)

I will probably get a Seidio case in a few months or get my parents to buy it for me for an X-mas gift.
