take this with a BIGGGGGGGGGGG grain of salt. i would say its more likely that the continiumm is announced and not the nexus s. all these reports are based on "reliable" sources. many of these sources also were promoting the droid x overclock scam a few days ago as reliable.

Samsung announcing new hardware November 8 Boy Genius Report

if you actually look at the promo, there are touchwiz icons on there...a google phone with stock android WOULD NOT have them...also the stock ticker is way too prevalent in the promo for it to not indicate the 2nd lcd screen with ticker on the continumm. The promo also would be more along the lines of Google and Samsung Promote:......then samsung mobile invites you.

thats my thoughts on it

on the 1/10 chance that this is true and accurate, i would highly doubt either verizon or sprint would see it. id bet it would be an unlocked gsm phone.

Ah yes the never ending rumor mill, business will always be good there.

yeah rumors are fine, and i enjoy reading them. i just dont like when websites that you'd like to think are legitimate *cough* droid-life and androidcentral jump on anything someone says and promote it like the gospel.

the back and forth last week over the droid x was irresponsible and should not have been posted without proof and not some video showing a faked processing speed.

any website that even tries to push the nexus s thing is irratating

I agree in principle however it must be noted that even the parent site of this one phandroid does the same thing when it comes to being the first one to break a story. This site had coverage of the DX 2Ghz fiasco. This site was first to break the 1.6Ghz Vibrant story. I mean all the sites basically are chasing news. The whole phandroid bot who has its own subforum just dumps the latest info whatever it is.

good point. i just dont like how it turns from "theres a chance of a nexus 2 from samsung" to "the nexus s is launching on november 8th with gingerbread" thats all:eek:. ive said my bit.

I understand your doubts and media trend chasing rumors. But if that's just Continuum, why would they say "Google Experience" and hold such a big press event? I think they might have something other than Continuum though not sure.
It's not that far away, so soon we will know.

yeah its not far off and we ll find out soon, but where at all do you see "google experience" anywhere on the ad? it actually only says "android device" which can mean android + bing. thats all im saying.

also, the n1 press event was at google, this doesnt even mention that google is co-hosting it

edit: if the "nexus 2" or whatever does come out then, well i apologize for doubting :), but if its true it could either be really good or really bad for sgs owners...either the software/firmware can be ported over for us (although more likely the gsm crew) or it means samsung will spend even less time updating us...interesting i guess but i doubt verizon would get a cdma-version anyway.
