Kindle problems

I have Kindle for android on my eris .... but I can't get any book to download, it fails on the download and tells me to try again....anyone run into this ? any fixes?

I never ran into a problem when downloading books. Are you using 3g or Wifi? You can also load books to the SD card if they are in .prc format.

Any chance you've got Droidwall on your phone and the app is firewalled?

i have tried both way ways......i can read the books on kindle for pc....so maybe i can drag and drop....wonder if they will still sync?

You have to be rooted to run it. Basically you can firewall apps from the Internet. If you've got an app that you don't want to have any Internet access, you can do that. If you've got an app that you only want to have Internet access when you're on wifi or only on 3G you can do that as well.

Anyway, I always do 4 steps with apps that aren't working.

1. Clear cache.
2. Clear data.
3. FC and then re-launch
4. Uninstall, reboot phone, re-install

If those don't work, I usually cry, stomp my feet and either contact the dev or give up on the app altogether.

I can't even get the darn Kindle app to download onto my ERIS. I've tried via the barcode and from Amazon's site. What am I doing wrong?
Help!
