Trying to add a photo from my sd card to a contact. Did the edit thing and tap the grey icon in top left and nothing?

What am i doing wrong?

Not sure why that isn't working for you.

But try this:

Go to your gallery and find the photo you want.
Long press it(when looking at it as a thumbnail) then set as,
and that's it!
Or if you click on the picture, click menu, more, then set as.

It may depend on how you're selecting the photo. If you use the files app to select the photo, it doesn't work, for me, it only works if I use the gallery to select the photo.
