I'm looking for a few things here.

My mom has my old Hero (I got my Evo, as you probably see) and she's seen what my rooted Evo can do, and wants her Hero rooted now.

What I need is this:
A rom that allows for overclocking, eliminates the dialer lag, and has SU access for stuff like tethering and setcpu.

She likes sense over almost everything else... so I guess a stock sense based rom would be best, though she said she can live without it after trying out launcher pro for about 10 minutes on her Hero as it is now. :p

Anything out there to float that boat?

I'm looking at the NFX-Hero 2.2.1 rom as a possible solution... but I'm not sure based on some of the feedback that's it's the day-to-day use ROM my mom needs. She's not tech savvy, and this is likely going to be the last thing we do to this Hero, as she's eligible for an upgrade in 4 months, and she's definitely settled on getting on the HTC Knight.

Been running CM6 without issue since 8/10. No Sense UI but look at the 'Setting up CM6' thread, there's a section to help with the Sense UI experience. Plus, the CM6 is froyo/2.2 just like the Evo (except flash 10.1, Hero not supported)
