Help A little help please?

Ok, picked up my new Droid this morning and synced it with my Gmail and Facebook account. I'm not sure what happened but I don't have any phone numbers listed for people from my old phone. It just has their email address (probably from my Gmail sync) and their Facebook profile. I removed the Facebook account to see if that would help but no luck.

Do I have to go back and manually type in every phone number from my old phone? The Verizon store transferred all my numbers and pictures but did they get erased whenever I synced with Facebook?

I don't know what happened in the sync with FB, but I would imagine it should be the same thing as when it syncs with gmail...it sends the info both ways.

Is any of that info still in your Contacts in your Gmail?

Could Verizon have saved them to your SD card? There's an import from SD option in Contacts > Menu.

Sorry, by the time I checked back all the replies on here I had re-entered all my Contact phone numbers. It took over an hour but I think I got it done!

I'm going to look at it as a blessing in disguise because I was able to not enter quite a few people that I don't talk to anymore.

Don't forget to add back in the names and numbers of the people that you don't want to talk to so you know not to answer when their name comes up in caller id.

Haha! I do that just so I can block them in Google Voice!
