Does anybody know this game?

You start out on a alien planet with a ship. There's a base with a dock but its deserted and there are hostile aliens all around you. You kill the aliens and you get materials to build stuff for your ship. Basically like that, it's not a MMO or a big ass space exploration game.

Last time I played it was like 2003 or something but I forgot the name

Well, first time I played it as a demo on mofunzone.com but I'm not sure if it's there anymore. You don't really "fly" around, more like hovering.

They were pretty fancy kinda like starcraft graphics. You used the mouse to steer the ship and the keyboard to accelerate, decelerate, and strafe left and right. Pretty basic weapons like missiles and lasers.

There was not really any vegetation, mostly just rocks and you couldn't get off the ship.
