The Xperia X10 does not have a camera facing in the correct direction for video-calling so I'm not sure why you'd want to bother. Due to the fact that it does not have the applicable hardware, I would assume software support for video-calling would be limited :p

I'm sure there might be a way you could finagle a video call out of it but at that point you may as well just get a webcam and use your computer for video calling.

No that's the proximity sensor I think you are looking at.

I hate the video call thing, it's truly horrendous seeing yourself talking... don't like sykpe or msn video calling for those reasons. No, I want good makeup, decent lighting, good camera angles and a soft focus lense before people are allowed to see my image!

Great... Now you have me wondering if you could splice the proper USB connector on to a web to connect to the phone.... Something like this: http://www.buy.com/prod/new-usb-2-0...op/q/sellerid/23962916/loc/101/213271960.html

Just need the software to work it.

Too bad I'm not techie enough to try it.

Gotta be ingenious but u can do this while positioning the cell phone normally but lower than your face in front of a big mirror, and making sure that you are holding steady...
