This utility belt I'm wearing for my Desire, spare battery, charger adapter, micro USB cable, spare micro USB cable, desktop docking station, and ultra-fine lint-free screen cleaning pad is just the latest fashion, that's all. I don't really need it. I could leave it at home any time I like.....

I remember going to the beach once & seeing the life saver (or lifeguard if you prefer) carrying a walkie in a zip lock bag. Didn't seem to interfere with talking or anything.

Would keep the sand & water out, but I wouldn't dive with it, it'd prolly leak a foot or 2 below the surface. Although with enough air in the bag it would float.

I heard about this 2 years ago when it was first announced. I don't understand why this product hasn't taken the world by storm, unless some problems have developed.

I guess the makers could just be incompetent as entrepreneurs though. that would be better than problems with the product. But there has basically been no news on it since 2008.
