Help Specs on the Milestone?

I'm extremely curious about the specs of this phone. How fast the CPU is, and if anyone here has it with Cellcom, does it use the same Motorola Blur as the D1? I just would like a full out explanation on this device!

1. CPU can be overclocked dup to 1.2GHz.
2. Know of no one using it on Cellcom, but I Googled a bit and it seems to be a GSM network, not sure of 3G bands though.
3. It does not use Blur; thank God that!

A greate device and even though over a year old is still a very capable phone worth recommendation. Depending on your budget you might however, consider the new version of Milestone 2 with a faster CPU by default, twice as much RAM (256MB Milestone and 512MB Milestone) and a lot more space for applications (140MB Milestone and at least 1.5GB Milestone 2).

I'm getting the device from Cellcom and they only offer the Milestone. I know that they don't have Milestone 2, which sucks, but thanks for the advice! Lots!

ouch that sucks, well you can always have someone send it to you ;) :D
We will see, but at this point it seems highly unlikely as it would mean sending from the UK to the US and from US it would be delivered to me and I will be on the other side of the world, Asia. I will learn some patience and wait :). I have only had my MS for 8 months so there is no hurry with replacing it.

To get back on topic :D

What else do you want to know about this phone? I watch TV shows and Movies on it and they are sweet looking with the HD screen quality. It runs really fast and I pretty much do all the stuff on my phone now and not my PC. I love how 60% of Android apps are free!!! :D

I never use phones for more than a year (14 months being the record from 2001) and the Milestone will be no exception. the only situation in which I would keep a phone a bit longer is when there is nothing interesting on the market. I had this problem a year ago. it took me 3 months to finally decide the Milestone was to be mine as there was NOTHING else worth a mention at tbe time (the is still nothing until MS2 comes out) as I am a physical keyboard addict and there are not too many of them on the market and even less good qwerty phones. Soooo, sooner or later MS2 will be mine. Desire Z might interest some, but to me it is plain ugly on its own and when compared to a Milestone it becomes even uglier.
