Cheers, downloading. They could do something in regards to the smoothness but I assume its already somewhere being processed Take that Samsung - newly released handset, 2 updates so far. Awesome.
Installed fine for me. Can't spot any differences so far. I also have NOT had the proximity sensor issue nor seen any lag except once with Angry Birds at the end of the day. Rarely use Youtube either ......
Well, I have one of the VF Access Points - basically a mobile aerial in my house that sends/receives via my BB - with the phone about 3' from the router and it's on max. before and since the update. Not very scientific I know .....
Since the update ive seen a massive performance increase. Everything just seems smoother, keyboard lag, general lag, zooming in on the browser... all things that stutterd abit at times now purr like a walrus <----expression.

you know what im dreading guys? is that our smartphones are slowly falling in line with how games are released nowadays i.e. with very little UAT (user acceptence testing) at all.
take fallout new vagas, oh man was that full of bugs. but release it into the world, collate the faults, fix it on the fly with regular updates and you save not only the UAT phase, but it means you can get the product out quicker and sooner.
when it comes to phones, i hope they're not going to go down this route as it'll tarnish the android experience for newbies to the OS...but on the flip side, im glad HTC are actively launching fixes on a regular basis, its stuff like this that keeps us lot coming back for more
Doh!
Here I am thinking this thing isn't all that (couldn't play itvplayer or 4od...), & all along you have to download flash 10.1 from the market!
Together with the latest SW update (.6), making it super smooth & responsive, nuffin can touch it
I'm impressed with the fixes & how quick they came.
HTC on the ball.
