I have a Droid 2. Today I went to the market and downloaded a application called "Date and Time version 2.2" I also discovered a more manageable app and went to uninstall the first one...date and time version 2.2. The option to uninstall is there, but it not highlighted to uninstall. I went to manage applications and the same thing. I went to the market and to recent downloads, its not listed there. I went to AppBrain, it's not listed there. Then as I'm looking at the application itself...I notice the permissions. It has the typical permissions, but also says it can access applications that cost me money....directly call phone numbers, send sms msgs, edit/read/recieve my messages, create bluetooth connections, full net access, ACT AS ACCOUNT AUTHENTICATOR, us authentication credentials of an account, modify delete SD card contents, and lots of system tools control, and manage accounts. I just don't want it on my phone anymore and can't figure it out. My brother is way more savvy on this phone than I and he can't figure it out. I even removed the battery for 3 minutes to reboot....nothing. Any suggestions???
