CD to Cassette

So this is going to be an odd question, but what is the easiest way to take audio from a cd and put it on a cassette tape?
I have to make a working display for my job and i thought it would be fun to put some current music on a cassette and have it playign on this old boombox that i found.

Could i just play the cd in a dvd player and use a line out to connect it to a tape deck?

Umm, why not just use an old stereo system?

Young people who have never had to record a CD to a cassette because they didn't have a CD player in their car yet make me weep.
I'm old.
Ugh.

Lol I remember making tons of my own mix tapes.

I remember the good ole days too. lol

remember making that mix tape off the radio for your girl? listening to the radio for hours in hope they'd play that perfect song and hoping the DJ would STFU so you didn't have to record his voice saying

97 rock is going to be at xxxxx this weekend from 9-3 giving away shirts and frisbees. Come say hi to me and the gang.... now here's Bonjovi, shot through the heart (directly into the words of the song)

CD's starting coming out right as I started driving and I got my first CD player in 93. Man I was pimp then. lol

on a funny side not, I still have my tapes and a working tape deck for the shear nostalgia of it all. I also have a home 8 track player and record player hooked up to my home surround sound. I don't listen to them that much but it's funny to turn them on at parties and get togethers and show off to people who have never seen them before.

I still have my "crazy calls" cassette that you could buy off TV for your answering machine message. At one time, I actually used "the rap" as my voicemail message on my cellphone.

well, it was a little before my time too... but I do vaguely remember my dad having the 8track player hooked up that I currently have. I think he said he got it in Taiwan during Vietnam in 72... I got some cool barrell speakers from then too.

I started driving in 91 and my first car was a 1984 Chrysler Lazer

and it came with a cassette player

mine was 8 years old. and had a salvaged title.

My laser was pretty fun car, but the turbo was shot and I would be just drivin along at 55 mph or so and it would just die on me. sometimes, it would crank up, sometimes not. I had to walk home one time, got home, when my dad came home and we went to get it, it cranked right up for him and he thought I was just doing something wrong. Took about a year to convince him I wasn't an automotive idiot.

lol
