It's amazing to me how much has changed in a year since I purchased the Moment last year!!

I paid $180 after $100 rebate for Samsung Moment, and I was in love with the awesome power of Android!!!

But as time went by I started getting jealous of other phones, like the Droid with the 3.7" screen, and then the Evo, and finally the Epic. The Moment started to seem very long in the tooth...

Now a year later, and I'm able to use my upgrade, I get an LG Optimus S for $0!!!:eek:

The LG Optimus S is a far speedier phone than the Moment, and it's astounding I can get the better phone for free... shocking!!

Anyway this may be one of my last threads here since I no longer have the Moment, but it was good times and the Moment started my Android euphoria... good to start, but not good enough to stay top dog for long.

So those of you who are eligible for upgrade, seriously consider the LG Optimus S. It's a great phone!!! This is even after I use the Evo and Epic for a month and half now. :)

In exactly 1 year, unless the browser did not show it, Sprint has removed Samsung Moment from their Shop > Phones page.

Problems with Samsung Moment have been known for a year now. There have been 2 major software updates to it and the problems still persist.

FWIW, don't hold me to it, but it seems for those who call in to Customer Care at 1-800-639-6111 and explain their problem with the Moment will be offered an exchange to Samsung Intercept or HTC Hero.

The LG Optimus is far superior to the Intercept, and I feel much better than the laggy Hero as well. Been using the LG for almost 24 hours now, and even coming from the Evo, the LG Optmius S has been pleasing me.

I was buying it to sell, but I may keep it as a pocket spare phone. It's a dandy little phone. Really like it!

I agree, Froyo or Android 2.2 itself makes LG Optmius S superior off the box. For the price, it is unbeatable. Hope Samsung-Sprint will learn to stop putting overpriced garbage in the market.

LOL, guilty as charged!!

I sold my iPhone 3GS and purchased a Samsung Vibrant for my T-mobile line. So now I have 4 Android phones.:eek::eek:

Evo / Epic / LG Optimus S / Vibrant

I still have my iPhone 2G that I use once in a blue moon, plus my 32GB iPod Touch, but Android is truly where it's at these days!! :D
