Of course you can keep them! And you called it -- I've pulled images from many many ROMs/themes over the months (none of the image work is my own, since I couldn't edit or create an image to save my life!), but the compilation is mine. You may find that it's more than you bargained for, though -- that framework will also affect your progress bar color (it's the green from NexTheme), your highlight color (greens) and the images in some of your menus. Your spinners will be blue now, too, your emoticons will be blue, etc., and you'll find many more changed images as you play with it.

Wow. Well, if I end up not liking it I always have my backup to go to. Thanks again!

Anyone else seeing higher-than-usual benchmark scores on Quadrant? Mine are amazing compared to what I'd get in the past. No matter what I did with past ROM/kernel combos, I never was able to reach 1500. I'd use a 1200 kernel, set it to performance - heck I even would clear all my screens and kill background-running apps to see if it would help. But I never reached 1500. And most times I struggled to get above 1400. But with this ROM I got 1563 on my first run and 1600 my second time. And this was done running the stock 1100 kernel set to interactive.

I've pretty consistently obtained 1500s and low 1600s on LFY using the slayher 1100 kernel.

Hey, I have been using lfy blueberry themes for a while now, and love them. Just went to 1.9, followed instructions, good so far, got a reboot or two, and angry birds and math workout fail every time I try to install them for some reason, getting lag too typing this message, keeps asking if I want to force close. I know when I install it doesn't format my ext-sd because it can't find it.. any ideas?

Installed this newest rom earlier today and love it. Ultra smooth & fast & looks good too. Have a quick question, however. I bypassed activation and restored all apps through titanium backup. Now when I go to the market and check for updates the only app it shows that is installed is GMail. Will I see an app in the market now if an update becomes available for it or am I going to have to update some other way?

Try wiping your market data and cache (Settings>Applications>Manage applications, go to the All tab and scroll down to Market). Once you do that, it should repopulate with all your apps.

This rom is just awesome right out of the box. Best battery life I've seen in a long time. Was a little iffy about the 1100 stock kernel cause haven't stuck with anything higher than 1000 for more than a day, but this works great. You've set the bar! :)

A curious sidenote(question): Can someone point me in the direction on creating themes? I've got an idea I want to try out, and perhaps play around with different settings. Thanks in advance.

Just FYI I was able to flash DarkEdge over the rom. It took a while to boot up the first time but it seems to run other than the tweeks may not work. I will have to check into it.

Dark Edge V1.0 Released, Now in Update.zip Format - Droid Life: A Droid Community Blog

This is REALLY not recommended! The version of Dark Edge in that link is for an FRG22D ROM, and LFY v1.9 is FRG83. When you apply this theme, you are reverting to a framework-res.apk for FRG22D, and older version of the Gapps, which can cause all kinds of problems, some of which you may not discover for some time. So, of course it's your Droid and you're free to experiment as you wish, but if you have problems or issues, be ready to look in the mirror for support! ;)

I am living on the edge :). Sometimes I just don't seem content unless there is a problem I have to figure out. Anyway I just loaded it up and saved it. The only thing I don't like about the theme is that the min auto brightness is too low and my poor eyes have trouble with the font. It is the most innovative theme I have tried. I did load it up to my FRG22D also which is probably where I will run it.

no 1.9 should be on rom manager

Tried it again; this time it downloaded and installed. Not sure what happened the first time. One helpful tweak to ROM manager would be to specify which version is being downloaded without having to wait and see what it is... just to be sure.

In the process of restoring everything... but so far, it's so fast and I didn't realize how much I'd like the black status bar until I saw it. Now that I've gone black, I'm not going back. (Yes, I realize what that sounds like.)
