ok so my phone is temp rooted with visionary and i have the setcpu app on performance so it allows full potential of the 1ghz processor.. phone is not overclocked or any type of lag fix installed..no bloatware or anything has been removed either.. and im running launcher pro. here are my results.. all tests are in free in the market for download and were all done 3 times back to back and these were the best of the 3..

Right. The stock mt4g has a 1ghz processor.. but like alot of them they don't run at there full potential. I found that the mt4g is similiar to the vibrant were it averages about 800ish MHz.. when you root the phone and run setcpu ( must be rooted to run this app ) .. you can set the processor to run on performance which is its Max speed.. 1024 MHz all the time.. so in effect makes the phone run faster. Once we get a lagfix or a overclock program it will be even faster.

Its hard to say.. like the vibrant is only overclocked to 1.2 so.. all depends on how well the processor reacts..i know my vibrant overxlocked to 1.2 gets quadrant scores around 2600 and thats running android 2.1

Have you overclocked your vibrant to 1.6? or uncapped the GPU? I would like to experience what this would mean in the real world but i'm hesitant to do it. I'm running stock BTW, but my vibrant doesn't lag.
