Sprint evo 4g vs verizon droid x

Im trying to dicide between getting an evo with sprint or a droid x with verizon whatever i get will be rooted and im currently leaning towards the evo but wanted to get opinions on what the people thinks is best plz &ty

The hardware is more similar than different. The networks on the other hand offer many differences in coverage and cost. Pick the network and let that choose the hardware for you would be my advice.

I have an X and my good friend has the Evo so ive spent a lot of time with both. IMO, even tho I have the X, the Evo is a much better phone. Its smoother, UI is much better and the the camera destroys the X. Dont let the 8mp camera on the droid x fool you...its downright horrible. I got better pictures from my 3mp camera on my old EnV3.

The only thing the X has over the Evo is battery life, which is substantially better. If i didnt have to be on Verizon, i would have got the Evo.

Must be user error, my X takes AWESOME pictures! Best cell phone camera I have ever had.

If you want a phone that lasts all day = get the X

If you want coverage no matter where you are = get the X

If you want faster internet in a 4G area = Get the EVO

If you need a kick stand = get the EVO

Both can be rooted and have ROMs to get stock Android which can't be beat

Sprint has great reception

Sprint is cheaper than varizon

Great Hardware plus I like HTC sense much better

Can't argue there, until January when Verizon gets LTE, but the X won't work for LTE so it doesn't really matter for this conversation

Sprint has great reception
I've had Sprint, AT&T, T-mobile, and Verizon. Verizon is BY FAR the best

Sprint is cheaper than varizon
Even with the extra money for 4G?

Great Hardware plus I like HTC sense much better
Sense is a preference, personally I HATE it. I prefer Stock with LauncherPro+ and other things I install myself. Hardware, no one can argue Moto is the best. Best battery, best reception, most durable, etc

Yes my plan is a lot less expensive than Varizon even with the 10 bucks for 4g.

I was speaking for overall preference sense is nicer than the Motorola alternative.

When I was on AT&T with my iPhone I rarely did this, but yes it was nice to be able to do it when I wanted

I prefer neither, I like stock. I remove Moto's crap with my ROM
