NOTES:

IF you run another launcher - DELETE Launcher2 - if you don't it will take up resources

I suggest not wiping and just installing over what you have now. If you have any issues - wipe and re-install.

IF you select Chevyno1Tools as the default for the menu key by mistake - open Settings from the app,
drawer, manage apps, click ChevyNo1Tools and click 'Clear Defaults'.

1. Based on 2.2.1 source code (aka FRG83)
2. ChevyNo1Tools gets its own home
3. Added media controls toggle option (for those untimely music starts!)
4. Added haptic feedback when toggle changed
5. Browser appear as PC - allows you to load full sites such as CNN.com - Breaking News, U.S., World, Weather, Entertainment & Video News rather than m.cnn.com (only for stock browser)
6. Browser shake-refresh - sensitivity adjustment added!
7. EL Brightness revamped - adjustable now!
8. New boot animation - awesome work by mojo_droid
9. New bootanimation switcher - fully integrated into tools! Just push new zip's to /data/chevyno1/bootanimation, re-enter Tools and it will be there
10. Basic overclocking now built-in - min, max, and governor settings
Default settings for OC are in /system/xbin/chevyno1/setscaling.d1

Command line way of setting: setscaling 400000 900000 performance - that is min, max, governor options
Note: Will not survive reboot - to make permanent, put in setscaling.d1

Note: Makes the same 'changes' as SetCPU - but does not have profiles. If you do not need/use profiles,
you would be safe to delete SetCPU and use my OC options. If you need profiles, keep SetCPU and
do not use my OC.

11. Adjust camcorder bitrate on the fly - no reboot necessary! In Tools.
12. Adjust Dalvik Heapsize - reboot needed
13. Adjust Wi-Fi Scan time - reboot needed

I think that is all for now - if you see a new feature that I haven't listed let me know, LOL!

Screenshots to follow ...

UD1.0.0 > LFY 1.9 > CM 6.1.0 RC3 > SS 4.9

I'll find the "ultimate ROM' yet. ;)
So whats your verdict, thats the best 4 going i am sure, i seem to keep coming back to lfy and love it.

UD 1.0.0 - One of my favorite ROMs of all time ... GREAT battery life. Unfortunately, the LED notifications don't work in that ROM and I got tired of waiting for an update.

LFY 1.9 - Like it a lot. But the battery life was HORRIFIC. The worst I've ever experienced.

CM 6.1.0 RC3 - Ran well, good battery life. But my ringtones wouldn't stay set. It was weird. I probably could've figured out the issue, but I moved on when I saw this thread.

I'll report back later today after I've played with Chevy 4.9 a bit.

I'm liking the ROM A LOT! But dag! UD 2.0.0 just hit the boards! I'll compare to two and keep the best one for me.

QFT about the horrible battery life with LFY1.9:eek:

Wrong forum, but I don't think the battery life with 1.9 is the issue. It's something with the way the ROM is reading the battery data. It's very odd and something I've not experienced yet. If I'm on a non-motorola charger, it totally screws up how the battery life is being calculated once I take the phone off the charger. It's only fixed when I reboot the phone.

I've been using this ROM for 13 hours. the battery seems to hold just fine ( I only charged it once). I dont like the blue theme on it tho... Are there any more themes out for this ROM? or maybe just plain stock... I dont mind...

thanks for your help :)
