Help How to get 100% out of batter?

I have a battery app that is very accurate. I charge my phone at night, but it never gets to 100%, usually in the low 90s.

If I turn the phone off, it charges to 100%.

Is there a "reserver" on this battery?
And what's the trick to getting the phone to charge to 100% and getting the most out of it?

Thanks

If you ever watch the Fascinate when it is charging you will notice a little pop up come on the screen that says something to the effect of "Battery Charge Complete, Please Remove from Power Source." When that happens I can look at the percentage and it will show 100%, but if I leave it plugged in I will notice the percentage start to drop as well. I think the phone stops charging once it is full and when still plugged in doesn't continue to charge any further. This may be why you are waking up to 99% or 98% charge shown on the screen.

Battery meters are never 100% accurate. So its probably gauging the charge incorrectly. Try unplugging it from the charger and plugging it back in again. If it doesn't continue charging, then its full.

I wouldn't be too terribly concerned about it unless you are having worse battery life than before.

The batter app is called "Battery Left" and once it calibrates, its very accurate, down to the minute, which is why i've stuck with it. Very nice to see exactly how many hrs/min you have left.

I guess I've left out some details. I've experimented during the day as well. When the phone's off, it charges 100%. When on, it doesn't. I can sleep for 8hrs with phone off, and it still says 100%. I realize things are running with the phone on while charging, but still think it should be 100%.

I know when i had my Inc, there were all kinds of tips about the batter reserve, taking the battery out, and a whole slew of tips. Haven't really seen anything on the Fascinate battery.

When its charged to 100%, the battery gets me through the day easily.
