Help Can I delete these files

I was looking and my SD card is getting full and noticed the download file is packed full of APK files. Can I delete these or will it get rid of something I need?

As long as you are 100% sure that you are looking in your SD card, then yes you can delete those. You can think of that folder on your SD card as a cache for the things you have downloaded.

Now, if you are rooted and are looking in folders other than your SD card, I would strongly caution you on deleting anything without knowing what you are doing.
