I am looking to make the move from Sprint to Verizon ASAP due to Sprint service issues in my area. I do have a few questions for the forum.
First off, I will be moving from the Sprint Epic to a VZ phone. Epic is an amazing phone. I love everything about it, except for the carrier. Have been really struggling with what VZ phone to go to. Here is how I landed at the Incredible:
Fascinate - hate Bing, reported GPS issues, doesn't feel as solid as my Epic
X - rather big, screen doesn't pop like Galaxy S phones or the Incredible
Continuum - not super crazy about the narrow screen, hate Bing
HTC Merge - reportedly delayed
HTC Inc HD - reportedly delayed
Incredible - solid feel, screen quality pretty comparable to my Epic, Sense UI, great size, great reviews.
So, I am thinking of picking up an Incredible for $219 for a 1 year contract. This gives me a great phone and allows me to move to one of the newer phones in a year, rather than waiting 2 years. Kind of a stop gap strategy until the Merge and Inc HD are out next year.
Any thoughts on this strategy?
And, will the Inc come with 2.1 or 2.2 out of the box?
Thanks for any advice.
