Hi

Downloaded and installed 6.1 and although I do like it and love the battery life it seems very laggy when scrolling the screen.

When I scroll down the application list or within the browers or just any application that involves scrolling the scroll is not smooth it seems very jerky.

I tried the stable version 6.0.2 I think it was from Rom manager but that seemed to be worse.

I wiped and cleared cache everytime I have flashed it, not sure if there is a step I am missing.

Does anyone else have this issue or could anyone point me in the direction of something I might have missed?

Cheers

Steve

No lag here, I've read alot of threads of people upgrading from 6.0.2 to 6.1-RC1 without wiping and producing problems? Full wipes usually fixes it, but since you've done that then there's not much other to think of, perhaps the guys over at XDA or CM's forums could figure it out.

However, did you try Kali-'s cfqll kernel that's in the XDA forums?

Yeah I tried the full wipe and re-installed a few times, will take a look at the other kernel.

Thanks

Hi, I also am a Nexus One (Amoled) user experiencing those problems with Cyanogenmod 6.1 !

I am using cyanogenmod 6.0 stable right now, however I would very much like to use cm 6.1 because of the obvious advantages. As I first flashed a current nightly, I immediately noticed the laggy scrolling around my Launcher Pro homescreens. Tried ADW Launcher, same there. I tried playing some games ane even there I had the laggy motion from time to time, which was fluent with cm 6.0

I tried a lot of things then...

1) I tried reinstalling LP, ADW and the other apps. Same crap.
2) I wiped the cache and dalvik cache, going back to cm6 and flashed cm6.1 then. Same.
3) I wiped everything, flashing a cm6.1 RC with and without the Gapps. Both -> same result.
4) I tried every combination of the performance tweaks in the cyanogenmod 6.1 Menue. No combination worked.
5) I flashed another recovery, having the newest clockworkmod recovery, I did 2) and 3) -> nothing worked there.
6) I bought myself a larger SD card with 32gb. Tried flashing cm6.1 with and without wiping first, I even formatted the SD card and wiped all the data, so I practically had a stock phone (only bootloader unlocked) and cm6.1 was still laggy for me.
7) I flashed Amon Ra 2.0 and tried everything with that recovery. Still cm6.1 was laggy
8) Flashed the newest Radio, tried flashing everything all over -> no result
9) tried flashing the Wildmonk Kernel with cm6.1 -> nothing. Still laggy

Flashing back and forth with so many different nightlies and RCs, I finally gave up on cm6.1 -> I will wait until the stable version, then try it. If it still does not work, poor me. I would like to have cm6.1 so much, but it does not work. So you see you are not the only one with this problem. In my German Forum no one has the problem, but me. Sucks balls for me, I guess..

Btw: Same as with the camera bug. Since I flashed cm6, I have a videocamera bug with the sound. When I record the sound is not sync to the video. I recorded it and put it on youtube. You can see by the sound of my fingers snapping that it is out of sync. PLEASE check it on your phone and post your configuration along with the result if it is synchronized or not. It would help me a lot, since I am collecting data for Cyano. Maybe he can fix it with the right idea.
