Boot Logo

Preliminary: NANDROID BACKUP ALWAYS EVERYTIME

Step 1: You need to be rooted, and have a kernel that supports boot animations.
Step 2: Buy Root Explorer
Step 3: Copy the bootanimation.zip file you want over to your SD card
Step 4: Using Root Explorer, go into the /system/media folder on your phone and find bootanimation.zip
Step 5: Rename bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.old
Step 6: Using Root Explorer, find the bootanimation.zip in /sdcard and move it to /system/media
Step 7: Reboot your phone.
Step 8: Enjoy your new boot animation.

Notice: This step by step method works on MY phone. I am not guaranteeing it will work on YOUR phone. Hence the NANDROID backup. Hope this helps. :)
