Did you regret buying htc desire?

I first went for the X10 and I loved the phone but after realising the 2.2 upgrade would never appear I decided to get the HTC Desire (which would have been my first choice but Virgin was sold out) the phone is great esp now as I have the 2.2 upgrade, couple of little problems that have been ironed out.

When I come to upgrade my contract I think I am going to stick with HTC as they seem to make solid phones.

Love the phone to bit's apart from:D

1 Lack of internal memory even with apps2sd
2 Battery life
3 Plastic camera lens (Ordered sapphire glass one!)

Agreed!

Although there still isn't a phone in the market that I feel beats it! Although the HD has sorted out the internal mem and apparently the lens too, it seems from what I have read that the battery life is worse!!!

I will probably buy HTC again on next upgrade! Used to own them back in the days when they all ran on WM OS which was terrible! ;)

It's easy to just pop the little plastic circle out of the cover and the quality of photograph/video is increased by approximately 392%, according to my quick maths.
I did this over a couple of months ago and I've not really been acting any more careful with it, and I've had no problems or scratches or blots of dust or anything like that at all, so I'd highly recommend it.

The difference truly is just remarkable.

Not really a regret, i am dissapointed by the battery, the poor internal memory, the screen, by which i mean the plastic, its very very easy to scratch and i know i should have put a screen protector on but i work in a textile factory and the dust gets in and peels within days so i just dont bother, keep it in a soft pouch but still got scratched.

On the plus side its a great phone in general, nice size, good build quality, speedy, customisable, looks good, the only cheap looking thing on the phone is the crappy led, its weak and crappy looking, not like my bb nice strong solid coulours, but overall im happy, have only just started looking at other phones and i have had it six months which is a long time for me lol, normaly only have one for 3 months and get bored, HTC did a good job, would buy another HTC without any second thought.
