HTC Desire HD as an mp3 player

yea that's what i'm doing currently. I got a 31gig micro sd card, and got about 29 gigs of music.. and using my bluetooth headset it lasts for much more than a full day. I get back home at 6 and i'm still at 40%

You're out 9-6, when leaving it's 100 % and 6 o'clock it's 40%? How much time in that period do you listen to music? On normal settings, right?

I'm not quite sure what the difference is other than that Dolby probably gives better sound. To compare, is normal settings the kind of quality you get on e.g an iPod Touch (which I use currently)?

Ok, but this problem doesn't occur with normal headsets? That aren't wireless?

There is problems when you use bluetooth headsets. The sound is delayed very slightly, just enough to be noticeable. I believe all android devices have this issue.

We really need a video player that lets you lag the video by a split second to make up for it.

About how much time do you spend listening to music on the DHD on a daily basis?

About an hour a day with Dolby

I'm sure that Denon AH-D501 will drain the battery like hell :D

Price-wise, I recommend Sennheiser CX150 - not expensive and good sound quality.

I like to listen to high quality sound.

My taste in good sound is like picking out a stunning woman ;) xD

Battery aside, I'd recommend WinAmp to play the music, miles better than the stock music player

Problem I found with Winamp, no Dolby or SRS..couldn't seem to enable it, made my music sound wierd

And how is the sound quality with default headphones & on loudspeaker in desire HD?

Never used the default headphones or loudspeaker to be honest.
