iPhone user going to droid.

Hey there guys, I am currently an iPhone4 user and I am thinking about switching over to either a Droid X or HTC Droid Incredible. If there are any people out there who have switched from the iPhone4 to any of these phones please give me some feedback on what the differences are and if you are happy you switched. I have played with the Droid X, and I like it a lot, I am just not sure if I want to switch. Thanks guys.

I switched from the 3GS to the Droid. Now I have the Droid X. Honestly there are a couple apps from my iPhone that I miss, but I couldn't image going back. There is so much more than I can do with android.

i switched from the 3G to the nexus one. I'm never going back. Although i did buy the iphone 4 to sell so my contract would be cheaper...

there are a few things you'll miss, generally it's a smooth interface but you'll forget all that when you figure out how much more you can do with your phone. It's a little computer/hard drive and you can just do whatever the hell you want with it. It really is a completely different experience.

The only one I miss now is poker income. As a professional poker player that app was great, and the alternatives on android are no where near as good.

When I first got my Droid there were a few others that I missed, but they have since all become available on android or there is an even better alternative.

On the other hand android has many apps that you don't have on the iPhone and never will like Flash, Tasker, WidgetLocker, Google Voice, and LauncherPro just to name a few of my favorites. Plus Widgets, ROMs, and themes.

And I was on a jailbroken iPhone so I had more functionality than a stock iPhone.

It was available on jailbroken iPhones a couple years ago. It doesn't have anywhere near the functionality

-You can not use it for call screening for your normal cell number

-You can not use it to replace your voice mail service

Those are the 2 things I love about GV
