BrieflyGeek is proud to announce RefinedEVO. RefinedEVO is based off of the newest sprint OTA [3.30] but "refined". This rom uses stock sense with many features and tweaks to enhance the speed and functionality of your phone. Please read the changelog in post two to see what all goes into this ROM. If you have any questions, check the FAQ first to make sure they haven't been answered.

Stock Rosie Layout
-Flash this to revert back to stock Rosie (get rid of the launcher remap)

Remove HTC Lockscreen
-adds aosp clock for alarm. You CANNOT turn off HTCs alarm clock without the lockscreen, so use the one that is added.

Enable Dialer Haptic
-Reverts haptic feedback on dialer. This will enable dialer vibration.

Google Voice
-This add-on will install GoogleVoice and remove sprints voicemail all in one shot

Sprint Navigation
-Revives sprint navigation

Smooth Sense Mod
-adds percent to the battery as well as a steady decrease of battery.
-adds animated gps and sync
-replaces adb icon with "adb"

Netarchy 4.1.9-noHAVS [Kernel]

I've got some things in mind for my next release. I hope to release that maybe with some new themes. I plan to build a theme for this that matches my Frost ROM and make it available on this one (with some variation)

I also have to work on porting matted blues for that one so maybe I'll get that one on here as well.

Nice work, I tried this ROM, and I liked it, but I could not get 4G to turn on. I also could not get Wireless tether to work ( new insurance replacement) I tried 6 all the way up to 13 for wireless tether.

I suspect it could be a hardware issue, but I dont know for sure.

update, I was finally able to get WIFI tether & 4g to work...

right now it is on MYN's, but I will probably try refined again in the near future!

1) Can the NASCAR app be used with this ROM (I saw that the Nav app had a link to reload it, but none of the other apps)

2) Can the home screen be set to rotate when the phone is being held in landscape mode?

1. Yes, the nascar app can be used
2. No, the rosie launcher isn't set up to do landscape. I think I saw a mod to allow it awhile ago, but the sense launcher doesn't look too hot in landscape IMO. Alternatively, a launcher can be downloaded from the market to accomplish this, like ADW or launcher pro

Yes, this is the newest firmware. It is actually built for your new evo.
Happens to work with no problems with later revisions as well.
