Wow. This weekend the back button on my Hero stopped clicking, it would still send you back, but it didnt have that reassuring 'click' anymore. I take it into the best-buy mobile where I bought it and ask to have it replaced, I had the sprint insurance. They said sure, I qualified, no problem...but then they couldnt find a Hero. They called all over town, no one had a Hero, apparently the clerk thinks they're being 'phased out'. They offer me a few other phones that are supposed to be 'comparable' to the Hero, but I dont like any of them and I tell him so. He sighs, and says "Well, I guess it's got to be equal or greater value, and the only thing else we have is the Evo".
So, long story not that shortened, I ended up getting a free Evo because my back button wasnt working. Giggety.
Let me tell ya, the speed and smoothness of this thing is what I thought the Hero was going to be like. goodbye lag, I mean seriously...there is zero lag, this seems like what our phone was supposed to be.
Plus I live in Raleigh, we have 4G here so that extra ten bucks is at least being spend ON something.
The only con so far is that it's ****ing huge, a bit unweildy in my hands, i'm guessing it will take a bit of time before I have a good 'grasp' on how to hold it.
