Calling All Telus Desire Owners!!

About a month ago my HTC Desire started overheating and shutting off after about 5 minutes of web browsing. I've rooted it and all but I dont have a backup of the original recovery and unrooted stock ROM (for telus). Today it felt like it was going to catch on fire while it was in my pocket (it wasnt being used as I was in the middle of a class). I figure that I cant wait any longer for Telus to release an update that would allow me to unroot my phone so can anyone who has a stock telus desire please send me a backup of their stock ROM!!!

I can't help with the stock Telus ROM, but here's a link to a posting that shows how to downgrade to v2.1 and from there you can update to v2.2 official unbranded edition or if you can find a Telus ROM, update to it:

While the unbranded version is not technically the correct software, it probably won't be noticed as it's a plain version and the Telus branding is rather mild.

The unbranded 2.2 doesn't do Bluetooth voice dialing and the TELUS 2.2 does? I've been BT voice dialing with unbranded 2.2 since I upgraded over a month ago. Can you elaborate on what's included in the TELUS ROM that I'm missing?

How do you use the Bluetooth dialing? I have been using the stock froyo and I cart figure it out. My wife is using the TELUS froyo and we can't figure it out on hers either.
