Root [Q] Does Glacier use standard micro usb?

If the usb port on this phone is a non-standard size I am going to be pissed.

I loved that the mt3g uses a regular mini usb plug because pretty much everyone and their mom has something lying around the house that uses that size. That means that wherever I end up I can always find something to plug into and charge my phone.

I've used camera cables, blackberry chargers, even used my buddy's ps3 controller cable to charge my phone directly from the ps3 or the cable box, lol.

Can anyone enlighten me before I buy something from Ebay that I don't need?

this uses the MICRO usb cord. The normal micro usb cord that you are referring too does not fit. WAY to big. And i hear ya on the cord thing. I have like 15 around the house dating back to the Moto V300.

I actually did differentiate between MICRO usb and MINI usb in my first post, but thanks for clarifying in case anyone missed it.

So it IS a standard MICRO usb port? Awesome.

NO sorry its the mini. My mistake. I always considered the big ones as a regular usb cord. Never gave it a name.

I know you have a MT3G and if you want to use that as a guide its smaller then that. I think that might start to be a new norm.

Yeah, printers and stuff use standard.
MT3G uses MINI usb.
MT4G uses MICRO usb. (I think)
