Help T-Mobile uk users still waiting for 2.2...!

I doubt that you are .... T-Mobile SK here (and from what I understand T-Mobile US is the same), same , no Froyo and we dont even have a release date. And am not ready to go custom yet.

I kinda hate this since I dont customize the phone since I wanna do a factory reset. So i am kinda stuck with a stock config :( (well I did go root and lagfix and installed many things but still its kinda like stock for me :p)

Mike, I'm on T-Mobile in the UK as well, and got fed up waiting. Over on the the XDA site there was a registry hack that fooled Kies into allowing you to update to the Scandinavian version of FroYo before Samsung pulled that version (which I did).

Since then there was a different registry hack put up that's allowed me to upgrade to the official UK unbranded FroYo, and it's working fine for me, even switching over to the orange network - apparently T-Mobile were testing this part of it out, which is what's delaying the release.

You might not want to go this route, but it's there if you get too impatient...like me:)

Mike - at least T-Mo UK users will probably get it this month and as Andy says, there is an unofficial route to what is now the proper, released UK ROM.

I feel a bit more sorry for everyone over the pond. The Canadians are looking at potentially another couple of months and that's before we even consider the fact that the US models will probably be even further behind.
