Put GDE on top of touchwiz

Hey guys,

I replaced Touchwiz's home with GDE off of the martet. It makes the phone truly phenomenal. Now, it doesn't officially support cupcake, but if you can buy it off of a G1 or other 1.6/higher device, you will be able to download it on a 1.5.

Otherwise, do a build.prop hack. I'll release one of my own, but I contacted the developer first to see if he'd just do it officially, it'd be much cleaner and safer.

Cheers

I just picked it up last night to see how it stacks up to PandaHome. I had tried aHome, OpenHome and DxTop previously and didn't like them for various reasons.

At this point, I'm actually pleasantly surprised with GDE. I'm using the Unobtrusive Dark theme with the Cube transition and I'm enjoying it. Other than the transitions though, it doesn't seem like it's terribly different from PH. That being said, I'll probably be sticking with GDE if only for the fact that it's developers can communicate in English. I tried to go to the 91 site once and needless to say, that didn't work well.

While the GDE developer is really just using a thread on XDA, it's still a place where I can go to very easily read update notes and ask questions.

As a quick aside, I'm using Wallpaper Set and Save to push a wallpaper over multiple "faces" of the Cube. The default Wallpaper setter on the BH2, only lets you crop an image down to one screen or "face", but as long as you're not looking for a different image on each face, WSS works very well.
