This isn't specific to the Droid (pretty sure).

But, my boss has given me permission to break into the wi-fi at our job, as he has lost the password AND he is in India for a couple months, so he can't call the I.s.p.

I've tried all the standard "admin" etc... passwords.

Anybody know a way to get in. Or how to go about calling company and getting password changed.

I promise I do have permission.

Hard reset the router and use the defaults if you have physical access to it.

Thanks vincentp...it worked like a charm. Very helpful...

To the other guy...really? Google? Not that I feel I need to explain anything to you, but I was having trouble getting online where I'm at so Googling was no help...so what I did was post my question on the forum, at home... then when I got to work, I checked for an answer, when I was in the one spot I could get data service...(which is not near where I have to stand all night)... which worked perfectly.

I also prefer to actually converse and get feedback from my fellow Droid user friends, rather than my Google "friend" sometimes.

But thanks for the internet lesson.

Do you tell your friends (if you have any) to go to the library when they ask you a simple question, in person?

I'm guessing yes.

pardon if he sounded brash but it might not be the typical snippy blow off "go google it". it might be that we don't know the answer since we don't know the model. A quick google for your model will turn up the answer quicker than asking and waiting for the answer. 'cides, if you got to the forum from home doesn't google work from there too?

Ok, I accept that. And no I can't get google as good, in the short time I have before work. I just waited till gmail notified me of a response, then walked to "good" spot and checked it...which worked perfectly...not sure why I get gmail, but can't google but all is well now...my apologizes if I sounded harsh as well.

All is good now, I reset router, opened browser, typed in http://192.168.1.1 and changed password.

Now I can stream my podcast all night long. I'm a happy camper.

Try to be civil, regardless of who did what in your corn flakes.

[No good deed ever goes unpunished]

There are default lists of mfgr passwords. That's what I was pointing to.

I hope you found what you need and are back where you wanted to be.
