if this does not fix the issues brought up in vzb, then this phone will become a brand new doorstop. im getting a little fisty having to keep reinstalling apps after i reboot my phone. plus the 2.2, these little updates are not really that impressive. especially vz nav, they need to quick nickling and diming. but im used to it, when i had a blackberry, the same crappy push apps were sent as well.

Nobody is sure if their will be a 2.2 update or not. I'm just not holding my breath, and this should fix problems that were introduced by the ZVB Update. I believer there is also a new radio included with this. However do not quote me on that.

Verizon seems to always do this shit. Useless updates, nickle and diming, preloading crapware. etc...Its aggravating. We were told a while back that there would be one more update before 2.2 but that one update ZVB brought issues of its own so they now have to fix that before they can get 2.2 going.

Well true but vz doesnt necessarly has to fix anything on this 2.1, programming wise, should be able to just jump 2.2 but again we are talking about verizon. But the great thing though is i dont trust any other network.

Its not Verizon pushing to get the issues fixed its LG. LG pushes it to verizon, verizon adds their crap, verizon pushes it to google servers. servers push it to the phones.

ankle connects to the thigh bone and ya da ya...(not towards you :)... just the updates seem ok until verizon adds crap such as city id. why pay 1.99 for area codes when we have a browser or many other free apps to do it for us, again with google maps, but maybe some dimwits will think that the apps are more powerful because they come from a more "official" souce such as a wireless carrier.
