Help Navigation software

I was using Wisepilot for Naviagttion in My sony ericsson x10. subscription is expired. Subcription cost is very high. almost like new navigator. Can you suggest another Navigatior software in anorid market. For United Kingdom.

free, as good as any, I think so anyway

Stupid question, but does using GPS use up data too? I would assume not, but does anyone know for sure?

It doesn't by itself but you won't get a sat nav app to work without a data connection.

I use the NAVIGATION program that comes on the phone. It provides turn by turn over the external speaker and auto corrects the path if you should make an improper turn, which I thought was amazing. It is a FREE program and anyone not using it, doesn't know what they are missing. There is really no reason to use a $$$ app, when this one works, well, probably better...

Agreed, I also use this app and it works great. No need to pay for anything.

Of course I dont know if its pulling data when I use it or not............

Using the gps itself does not use data but Google maps does. WisePilot is ridiculously expensive so I use Copilot, much cheaper and doesn't use data as the maps are stored on the sdcard. There are many alternatives on the market that are cheaper than WisePilot and don't use data like Google maps.

I am using co-pilot for last four months, and its great.. It was just $20, and no internet necessary !!!!!
