Help Overnight Charging problem

So i charge my phone overnight, but because it charges and gets full, Then stops charging and loses a bit because it only charges again at 90%.

How do i not loose that 1-9%? i wake up and its like 95%

basically it gets to 100% then after 2 hours (i think) it depletes to 90% rapidly and recharges.

It repeats this cycle until unplugged. Best thing would be to unplug it say when you get up and plug it in again as it will have to charge to 100% and wait 2 hours again before depleting.

I dont have 2 hours after i get up though, more like 15 mins

Does the phone turn on for an alarm?

That's what I mean, once you have plugged it back in, if you unplug it a 2nd time, it will be 100% unless you waited more than 2 hours, at which point it would start to deplete again.

But from the time i wake up to the time i leave it cant get to 100% again, any way to make it charge 100% and then use the charger as the power source like (most) laptops.

It charges that last 10% (or less depedning on the % its at) really quick. Test it in a non morning situation. I bet you can go from 90% to 100% in 10-15 minutes.

And to your other question, no. Not without rooting and flashing custom roms etc...

So does it turn the phone on for the alarm? i will set it 10 mins early tomorrow and see how long it takes to charge

Somthing I've considered to counter this is to simply turn off the phone when I put it on charge, and turn it back on in the morning. I *think* that this should also make battery recalibration less necessary.
I hadn't noticed quite how much it could lose until I started using BattStatt. yesterday it said "Eighty Eight percent" when I took it off charge! (But still showed a full charge in the status bar!)

Edit: Sorry, I see you use it for the alarm, so this wouldn't help much and you'd be late for work.

The alarm.won't turn the phone and all you can.do is what I said

Your phone shouldnt use more than 10% overnight unless you have syncs every few mins.

Min, on 3 hours, uses 3-5% overnight left with everything on. So I charge before bed, take off charge, and top back to 100% whilst in the shower.

go to bed at a different time. Then you will be at a different point in the charge cycle when you wake up ;o)
