Help Epic will not charge. Turned off and will not turn on. Not wet or dropped.

My Samung Epic 4g was working fine until I plugged in the charger and it WOULD NOT CHARGE. tried another charger, nothing. Tested outlet, yes, it provides electric. So I turned off the Epic and IT WILL NOT TURN ON. Took battery out for a while, put it back in nothing. Would love some positive advice. Thanks!!

Thanks went to sprint they gave me a different phone guess what? Not even 24 hours since I had this phone and if it sits idle too long it shuts off on its own and I have to take the battery out and put it back in for it to turn on.

That's not right. Not that it's what you want to hear, but go back and get another. Trust me when I say that there are PLENTY of good Epics out there.

On my third Samsung Epic 4G - this one has multiple issues
1. Programs just shut off on their own
2. Lists number of programs running but doesn't show programs running
3. Phone hangs up automatically (even when the screen is not on). I have to tell every caller that I will call them back if my phone hangs up on them.
4. While talking I get a busy signal tone and all of the sudden I cannot hear the caller and they cannot hear me (mute not on) Time is still running and the green phone is at the top. Sometimes, I can slide the drop down and get the call going again, sometime I just have to call them back after I figure out how to cancel the call.
5. I was riding in the car at night and wanted to send a text. The slide out keyboard would not light up, it would flash for a second then go black. Was wondering if that's because the battery was getting low.
6. Did not receive notification that another call was coming in while on a call.
7. Phone automatically hung up on me then, caller tried calling me back the touch screen would not let me slide to answer, locked up and would not even power off.

I need a reliable phone and one I can be assured will work in an emergency this is not that phone. Other than that it's a fun phone.

I am on hmmmm, i cant even keep track of how many epics now. first one worked great and im sorry to say that I accidentally broke it. Then one with a messed up screen. then one with no reception at all, then one with little reception and a lot of dropped and missed calls. now one ive had for a few days that turned off in my pocket AND WONT TURN BACK ON>???!!!!! Ok Samsung, next time you need to keep up with the competition, dont just slap something together as fast as you can. I just wish there was a RECALL!!!! I'll be missing the first part of work yet again Samsung, so that i can have a valuable part of my job.... MY PHONE!!
