hi...

just read the following:
Gmane Loom

so... my idea was to add something like this to android. The GUI on a phone is much more important than on a normal pc, i suppose.

so it rly would be "a killer feature" (in my opinion^^)

i can't explain it very well in english, couse it's not my mothertongue, but for the german readers:

here is the article, which brought me to this idea:
Kernel-Log: Flinker mit Prozessgruppen | heise open

would like to hear your opinion to this...
and... uhm... there arent any law-problems, right?^^

another idea, which just came into my mind:
maybe it is only my prob or imagination, but i rly don't like it, that i can't end processes directly... like with the big "X" button^^
how would be a function, which kills the current process(topmost) if you press-hold the "cancel/back" button? Default there would be a litte pop-up which asks you "You rly wanna kill this?[Hell, yeah / No, sry][[]Do not ask me again]"..
and a little settings-app, where u can change this... or just put it in one of the thausends of menus^^

hope u can understand me :3
sry 4 my "little bit" creepy english ;D

How is it more important? People interact via the GUI in both cases. There's not an alternate way to interact with the PC -- that I'm aware of, anyway.

Not again...

Please read up on how Android multitasks and manages memory. A lot of newbies don't seem to understand and get all fixated on what is and isn't running and how much memory is free (probably because of how their former devices worked or didn't work). Try to understand how the OS works before you try to "fix" it.

There are many, many threads and guides that you can read on the topic. You're not the first to mention this. It's way beyond being a beaten dead horse. If you really need help in locating them then please let us know.

well uhm... i never said i wanna fix something^^ i just said, that it is something, which i do not like that much... so i would like to see a function like that (maybe it rly is just couse of habit, i'm not much into the OS, yet - but this habit seems to be commonly spread... other wise this wouldn't be a dead-beaten and raped horse ;P)
this only would be an added function, which doesnt interfere with other things, or?

i - personally! - see no reason to leave a function like this out.
even if it is only to get the guys like me silenced... the poor horse :/

yet again, sry 4 my english^^
