Now take this with a grain of salt but tmonews just dropped a little report saying (yet again) 2.2 for slide is coming soon, and the best part...IT WILL INCLUDE WIFI CALLING! sorry got a little excited. The language is still vague as they say again it will get the update "very soon." Now i know we've all heard this before so i say again take this with a grain of salt.

I saw this yesterday and am looking forward to when ever they get around to pushing it out.
The Wi-Fi Calling is very nice and works wonderfully. once they push it out (so the wife has it on her phone) I can tell Time Warner Cable to shove their digital phone, nothing like calling your house and hearing "the subscriber your are trying to reach is out of the area" because you haven't reset the modem this week

Hi guys,

I originally purchased my phone in the US prior to moving to the UK... Sadly the mytouch slide never made it to the UK and therefore I have no clue as to how I will be able to get this much awaited for update. (I use T-mobile in the UK as well).

I know I will be back home (US) for the holidays and wondering if by then the new Os is out would I be able to ring Tmo and get it?!?!

Ideas?

You will most likely be able to get the update at the xda-developer forums after it is delivered OTA.
Then I'm sure if you start a thread there, one of the geniuses would give you the compilation.
