What I am trying to accomplish here, is a non-biased, detailed review that I can update at will for both devices. I will lay out the good, the bad, the ugly, and the great for everyone to see.

So far so good IOWA, I've had the same experience with my Evo as well. I'm not sure about GTalk though, I haven't used it so I don't know if I'm signed in or not. I can download from the Market just fine.

Pretty sure you're signed in automatically. Check your running processes and it'll be listed.

the quadrant test is confusing me....

I am guessing your EVO is still on 2.1, because it is slower than the standard EVO 2.2 listed.

if that is correct.. but your EVO scored higher than the standard Galaxy S on 2.1 listed. From what I have read.. should not the Galaxy S score higher than EVO???
