I haven't rooted mine and I'm more than happy with it.

I think it depends. I think if "normals" read and post on these forums (and similar), there's a much higher chance that they would consider rooting - compared to those who don't really investigate stuff.

I think iphone needs to be jailbroken 100% or else its just a device that tells YOU what to do not u can tell iphone what to do cuz you cant even customize that !! like only 12-13 app in a folder ? why apple why ? oh i know, there is going to be an iphone 5 which u can put infinite apps WOW !! I didnt root my desire and im so happy with it !! Its got everything that a smartphone needs to have !! maybe a front facing camera would've been awesome but meh ... the design and build quality is better than iphone + FLASH !!

It is a sexy device, no doubt. The LOOK of it is just about the only feature that I miss having switched over to an EVO. That said, I didn't get the phone because of how it looks, though I know there are a ton of people that just want to make a fashion statement. Hell, isn't that why they are releasing some Armani branded galaxy S models?

I really don't understand a phone being sexy but if that's what make you feel good about your device, so be it. In my opinion the iphone look like every other phone pretty much out there.
