Yep, beta tested it for a week, and installed it a couple hours ago. Working great so far. In case you haven't read up on what's new, it seems to be running faster, and now includes toggle widgets in the notification panel. You can also flash a different...well...flash so that hulu will work.

Yeah i had read about the controls in the notification panel, glad o see that came about in an EVO ROM, Also glad to read about the framework overhaul to increase the speed, I never had any problems with speed in RLS1 or 2, but # always ran laggy for me, I ended up over clocking slightly to compensate. Of course this took it's tole on my battery life. I'm looking forward to flashing it and seeing how it runs.
Also loving the Hulu idea. I knew there were work arounds to get it working but the last time i read about it the process was pretty involved and it wasnt something that I dreaded not having.

As a fresh or baked snack only user, I installed this rom today. Wow is all i can say. Worth it for the options in the notification bar alone. This rom is beautiful. It truly looks completely different unless you have used a ton of themes to achieve this look previously. Sleekest rom ever. Performance is great. I hope battery is too.

The battery is something I was also curious about. Reading through the XDA forum there was a post about poor battery life, though it had not been followed up on as of yet. There was only the one post though which leads to me to think it was an app or something along those lines.

Most reports of bad battery life are mainly from one or two issues - the phone not sleeping or you're being impatient. You need to go through a couple charge cycles before really getting an idea of how the battery life will be with a rom or different kernel. Also, use spare parts to make sure nothing is holding excessive wake locks. Beyond that, some phones just don't work well with some kernels. Give the new default HTC #17 kernel a shot. A lot of people have been getting great battery life with it.

I am an addict I guess. I am out in the country with ot a great signal and I downloaded the ROM over 3g...took about an hour and drained about 50% of battery.....but...it seemed to download cleanly and restored everything via Ti backup and it is up and running. I still don't know what all that stuff is in the Notification bar....I guess I gotta get over to XDA and read about. It does seem very snappy. I will admit that I was a HUGE fan of RLS 3 which give me incredible battery life. I hope this is at least almost as good in that regard. Anyway, I have it on my phone and am posting this via wireless tether. I really haven't had a chance to really play with it but I am stoked it is out...

PS....to the noobies, I do not recommend DLing a ROM over 3g...

I am having word wrap issues. I installed a different font pack that wrapped nicely with rls3...no such luck here. Let me know if anybody can find a font that wraps to fit the screen.

You mean in the browser? From the release notes:

"Browser modified so text reflow is disabled when using pinch-to-zoom (Thanks Calkulin and SNQ)"

Or are you talking about something else?

Not really sure what that statement means but I think so. Why would they consider this a desirable trait? It was this way on rls3 but installing a different font pack enabled word wrap.....not so on this on. I am in the middle of nowhere so i can't really find a resolution. If there is no resolution then i wipl be going back to rls3... who likes to scroll literally while they are reading....

I flashed this rom at work today and t has really been running nice, still testing out battery life to get a feel for that. I didn't know the Sprint hot spot feature worked with this rom. Can anyone confirm this as well so I'm sure i won't get a nasty hotspot fee on my next bill?

The ROM itself is real smooth and I'm digging the notification bar (having a flashlight toggle in the notification bar is genius!). Had to flash the stock fonts and stock keyboard tho to make it just right for me. I'll come back and report some more info if I find some.

Yes, sprint hotspot does work now, but only with 3g. If you're in a 4g area, and want to use 4g, use android wifi tether, which is preinstalled.

just rooted this morning and flashed this as my first rom.
Questions:
1. I downloaded the "stock fonts" as well, how do I flash this? Go to recovery, clear both caches and then install it?
2. Being that this is my first ROM, anything I should try or something elseI should flash with it?
3. How do I get the myn warm wallpaper back, for some reason when I did titantium restore it got my old wallpapaer, and now I cant find the other one

MOre to come i'm sure, but liking it so far. when I first flashed it, I did my titanium batch restore, and I was starting to re-do all my apps on the home screens, then I opened the "super user" app, cuz it was new :) and it updated me to a new version and reset my phone, then when it rebooted, my old screen layout from before was all there, with my apps widgets etc.. pretty cool, but not sure why it happened.

1)Luigi, just flash it like a ROM.
2)Try different themes and notification bars and stuff.
3)Just realize that your restoration point is when you backed up. Sometimes we don't keep our backups up to date ref TI backup...

Other than that, I have flashed a different font pack and it did not fix the word wrap issue. I will try some others when I get a chance.

Also, I have absolutely TORTURED this thing and the battery is hanging in there at about 40% after 5 hours....see definition of torture below..

Torture=3 devices tethered for literally hours.....numerous texts and numerous camera actions all during tethering....all the while my nieces and nephews were playing Angry Birds....all with about 2 bars of 3g! I honestly cannot believe how well the phone performed while doing ALL of these tasks at the same time. Anyway, they are in awe and I am as well.

That is correct....you do not have to wipe although some would recommend you do(I don't). I only do a full wipe when installing a ROM. I guess wiping caches and dalvik would be relatively painless...

There are some clear notification bars that may work as well as other themes(riptide, etc). I honestly don't knowif these would work although I don't see why not. Font packs are a good start though. Myn's font is a little skinny and hard to read so I change it out of necessity. I'm old...:) Don't be afraid. Have fun. You can always go back to a recovery although I have never had to.

Thanks, you say flash it like a Rom, but I do not need to wipe data correct?
How do I change themes/ notifications etc? Thanks

You flash fonts, themes, etc. like you would a rom in that you flash a zip from recovery. You are correct in that you do not need to wipe data. Just wipe cache and dalvik cache. However, make a backup, first. If you flash something that gets you into a bootloop, the only way out without a backup is to reflash the rom. While you don't need to wipe data again, you'll lose any other mods you've flashed.

As for your titanium backup issue, I would recommend restoring apps on a case by case basis instead of batch. Yes it takes longer, but you avoid potential conflicts. Personally, I wouldn't restore settings from it at all. Just write down what you had before. Just don't forget to use SMS Backup and Restore or something like it for your SMS messages. (There's a call log version too, if you care about that). I know the default wallpaper is there somewhere, I just forget where. I'll go look for it.

As for modifications. Look in the OP for myn's warm. There's a few things there, plus you can find a few mods here:
