Cannot make outbound Calls via GV!!?!

Google Voice runs flawlessly on my Droid. I recently purchased a Droid Eris for my wife, and while Google Voice SMS and inbound calling works fine, outbound calling does not. I notice that Google's "bridging number" used to connect me with the recipient on the Eris is different than the one used by my Droid. When dialing on my Droid, the call is routed through (518) 314-9466, while the problematic Eris is using (609) 987-0466. My wife's GV number is a (908) number which is probably why she is being routed through a (609) bridging number, both being South Jersey Area codes.

Does anyone think this is the problem? If so, is there a way to adjust which bridging number through which outbound calls are connnected. Has anyone else suffered this issue? We are really concerned as Google Voice integration was the primary reason for purchasing this phone.

I thought to add that (i) I am using version 0.2.8 in all instances, (ii) the Eris has been updated with the recent OTA update from Verizon (though I didn't have a chance to use Google Voice beforehand to to determine if this is a post-update issue or not) and (iii) I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app from the market multiple times in hopes of rectifying this issue.

Thanks for any and all help!

EDIT: This is a HUGE issue, so at least it will be addressed. http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Google+Mobile/thread?tid=129988a5c1f44a66&hl=en

I wanted to use the GV app to return calls that I received in GV. The app doesn't let me do this. I have to write down the number if it doesn't pick it up in the caller id.
The app does give me the option to make GV calls but it's for either all calls in my contacts or none.
Is there a way to use the GV app that I'm missing? I mainly just use it for non-friend contacts.
I'm new to smartphones but I am LOVING my Eris! Thanks for your help!

When you check your phone's history (press Phone or the real green button), you see the calls that you missed, right? You should be able to just tap the caller's number and it will dial out.

Make sure GV Dialer is already toggled ON. Then press your Home button to get out of that setup page.

No actually my GV calls are not sent to my cell. I have them just sent to GV.

Thanks for your help.

Oh I see what you mean. Then I guess in that case, you'll have to use the webpage and do a callback?

I checked my GV again an hour ago and it seems like Google fixed the + problem for now. Hopefully everyone's will be fine soon too.
