2 hardware problems, can I fix

I'm out of warranty, so going to verizon isn't a possibility here.

My two problems are my headphone jack has gone to crap, and the button next to it no longer clicks. The button works, but there's no click, it's like it's permantly pressed in. Putting pressure on it triggers it, but it's very difficult to do. The headphone jack, unless it's perfectly still isn't tight and connection becomes staticy or disconnected completely when moved.

I'm willing to open my droid to correct either of these issue. Is there any way to fix either of them?

The service shop is the way to go.

That link and the video are both general disassembly guides. I posted them so that you could get an idea as to what you're up against in self-repair.

Some users have success doing self-repair. Your mileage may vary. ;)

I'd have no problem doing it myself. I've done self repairs on other things too, I just wish I could find a picture of what the power button mechignism looks like before I did anything.
(you don't happen to know anywhere with pictures of that part do you?)
