What is the criteria for posting in this forum? I see that 16 topics got moved out. Is this forum only for Droid X comments which do not indicate a problem with or question about the device? Some days there is hardly any point to coming into this one because most of the topics have been moved.

I'd write a mod directly to ask but there seems to be over a dozen and I don't know who is responsible for this forum.

The sub-forums soak up many topics started here in the generic Droid X discussion area, Support and Troubleshooting most often; many threads asking for support have to be moved there every day.

We read the threads and leave them here if they are not about Accessories: http://androidforums.com/droid-x-accessories/, Tips and Tricks to share with other X users: http://androidforums.com/droid-x-tips-tricks/ or problems, suggestions, ROMs and comments etc about rooted devices All Things Root: http://androidforums.com/droid-x-all-things-root/

Questions about these things are best directed to Phases, the site administrator, via PM: http://androidforums.com/members/phases.html

The support section is where threads go to die. I get why they are sent there but they get more attention in the main X forum

Not true. We've been leaving re-directs, the result is many responses to OPs in many cases, things get resolved in there. Go have a look. ;)

..etc.. to name a few. Those sub-forums are steadily growing, as users get accustomed to using them.

It'll take time, but it does organize things after a bit. Please keep in mind that we know we're not perfect at doing this, we're doing our best. ;)

Please don't take my comments as a bitch, it's not. I noticed this forum can be quite barren due to all the moving of threads and wondered at the criteria which isn't always clear.

Nice of you to say that, RichSz. I took it as a very common observation these days.

There have been a few changes of late here at AF, not the least of which is the pro-active activities of staffers now with regard to just the thing you brought up: we're much busier tidying the place up, so users are seeing their threads moved and some are reacting as you did, understandably.

Good on ya to point it out, because in the long run it'll draw people to those sub-forums when needed, so we'll be moving fewer threads over time.

Btw, there is a Suggestion area here at AF for things like this, and it's a great place to have Phases and others notice your concerns:
