Lets Golf 2 Released For Android!

dont get me wrong I understand it shows up if you follow your link but its almost like they half assed it and only added it to some of their website...if you go directly to gamelofts site its not on there but if you go to the store it shows up...just not fully realized yet i guess

Very strange, Gameloft really do need to sort this out, it's bad enough there not on the market but it's impossible if there own site hasnt been updated.

Maybe it's a regional thing or it could have been pulled.. :(

Anyway, it's a huge game, 297MB so make sure you have fast wifi connection when you finally can download this. :D

It's too bad they don't support the Market. I won't buy a game unless its on the Market.

Agreed. Without the benefits of the Market, I won't buy their apps. Read their Gameloft's terms sometime. If I remember correctly you buy it for the phone you have. You can't redownload it if you switch phones or have to factory reset. No return policy. It's Gameloft's loss when even a few potential customers won't buy their apps due to lack of Market support. That's money out of their pocket.

I will buy their games I find interesting, but I agree that they should really use the Market. They also need to work on their customer service.

Aside from that, Let's Golf 2 looks pretty good...I just wish they would port over NFL 2011 since EA is taking their sweet time with Madden (and who knows what devices they will even support).

Utterly incorrect - not only is your email and phone number stored, but you can just mail them (with proof of purchase) and they'll sort you out. Originally it was a one time download, not anymore.

Most of there sales come from iPhone users and they seem to be doing very well, so I highly doubt the loss of sales from a few stubborn Android users is something that they are overly
concerned about.

Also as stated above you are incorrect, I've re-downloaded a few times.

Will be great if/when they do bring them all to the market though.

For those interested the site seems to be working properly again, so start downloading!! :D

Well I'm glad to hear they've updated to a more fair model. Can't wait until they come all the way.

If they make most of their money on the iPhone (which I have no reason not to believe) they must be using the Apps Store. Apps Store but not Market. I note a discrepancy here.

Well that's down to Google, they need to make the market more attractive for developers.

But at least these game are available, same EA games are not, NFS Shift, fifa 2010 and The Sims 3. All great games but you can't actually buy them, not on the market and not even on their website.
